Real Madrid legend, Luis Figo, has named the two favourites clubs that can win the UEFA Champions League trophy this season.
Figo who snubbed his former club, Real Madrid, named Manchester City and Bayern Munich as the two favourites that can win the Champions League.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Vicente del Bosque Academy in Calvia, Mallorca, Figo was quoted by Managing Madrid as saying:
“In the Champions League, you always have to count on Real Madrid, but my favourite is between Manchester City and Bayern Munich.”
This season’s Champions League competition is currently in the quarter-final stages.
Real Madrid will face Chelsea, while Bayern Munich will tackle Manchester City in the last eight that will take place next month.
