The Interim Management Committee (IMC) has not made any decision on the venue of the Nigeria Premier Football League Super Six competition.

The IMC is the body in charge of running the affairs of the NPFL.

IMC head of operations, Davidson Owumi stated the league body has Abuja and Lagos in mind for the competition.

The former Rangers striker stated that the IMC will put a number of factors including commercial viability into consideration before announcing the venue.

“We have not picked a location for the Super Six tourney. We have some venues in our mind that have no Premier League team,” Owumi stated.

“Abuja and Lagos are provisional venues in their minds.

The top three teams in Group A and B will battle for the trophy in the Super Six, while the bottom two in each group will return to the second tier, the Nigeria National League.

The 2022–23 NPFL season is an abridged league with the 20 clubs drawn into two groups.
