Winner of the House of Representatives election in Ekiti North Federal Constituency (II), Akinlayo Davidson Kolawole has congratulated the newly elected members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, over their resounding victories at the just concluded election.

Kolawole specifically rejoiced with the lawmaker-elects from the Ekiti North Senatorial District, where he hails, urging them to roll up their sleeves for the task ahead to justify the confidence reposed in them.

The Ikosun-born entrepreneur and politician sympathized with two APC candidates who lost the election, urging them to be strong in defeat and hope for better days.

According to Kolawole, the expectation of the people from the elected officers is high; hence they must work together to attract better dividends of democracy to the people and give them a sense of belonging.

The lawmaker-elect appreciated Governor Biodun Oyebanji, former Governor Kayode Fayemi, APC Chairman Barrister Paul Omotosho, party leaders and loyalists for the great efforts put up towards the success recorded during the election.

He affirmed that the goodwill of Oyebanji and some party leaders gave APC an edge during the election.

Kolawole promised to continue to think out of the box towards giving his constituents robust representation.
