Rivers United duo, Nyima Nwagua and Joseph Onoja have been selected in CAF Confederation Cup Team of the Week.
Nwagua scored a brace in Rivers United’s 2-2 home draw against Congolese outfit, Diable Noirs at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Sunday.
Winger Onoja also put up an impressive performance in the game causing problems for the opposition with his trickery and mazy runs.
Rivers United are already through to the quarter-finals of the competition with a game to spare.
Stanley Eguma’s side will travel to ASEC Mimosa for their final group game.
Libyan club, Al Akhdar, Young Africans of Tanzania and Egyptian side, Tala’ea El Gaish also.contributed two players each to the selection.
Asec Mimosas, AS Real Bamako and AS FAR of Morocco have one player each.
